I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all competitors entered in the 2008 Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series. 2007 saw the competitiveness of the category elevated to a new level and I have no doubt that 2008 will continue this trend.

Thank you to all of last year’s teams and competitors for making 2007 so memorable. Special congratulations to the ultimate 2007 Fujitsu Series champion, Tony D’Alberto, on his well earned victory.

Given the success of our company’s sponsorship of the Fujitsu Series over the past two seasons, I am please to announce that Fujitsu General (Aust.) Pty Limited has signed on with V8 Supercars Australia as series sponsor for a further two years.

With now more events held in conjunction with the main
Championship Series, we hope to continue to develop the Fujitsu Series as a true breeding ground for up and coming V8 Supercar drivers.
