Brett Holdsworth Nominated for 2008 CAMS Personality of the Year
TTM Group Racing Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series and Commodore Cup competitor Brett Holdsworth has been nominated for the prestigious CAMS Personality of the Year Award for 2008.
Previous recipients of this award include Marcos Ambrose, Craig Lowndes, Grant Denyer and Marcus Zukanovic.
Holdsworth earned the nomination thanks to his great efforts in dealing with the motorsport media, and hard work in promoting all aspects of Australian motorsport, particularly the Commodore Cup national series. He will compete against 16 other nominees, with the public voting to decide the winner of the award. The other nominees include several high-profile drivers, such as James Courtney, Jim Richards and James Moffat.
“I was a bit surprised when I first found out I had been nominated,” Holdsworth said. “I’m stoked! I think the Holdsworth family has done a lot for motorsport over the last few years, so it’s great to be recognised and have my name up there with some other notable motorsport personalities.”
